Casual Patterned Jumpsuit for Women – Entière

It is a trouser jumpsuit entirely in waxed cotton and dyed by hand in our workshops. It is made up of 3 pieces: a sleeveless jumpsuit with a V-neck which forms the basis of the set. This base is slightly pinched at the waist without being stuck to the body. It offers two large pockets where you can keep all your stuff if you don’t want to take a bag. The crop is entirely woven by hand with strips of dyed fabric sewn one after the other. It is lined because it was designed for autumn or winter and therefore to be warm. The collar of this crop is round, the sleeves are mid-length and reach above the elbow and the bottom falls rounded above the chest. This three-piece set is completed with an 8 cm wide belt which is made in the same fabric as the jumpsuit.

It is an ideal combination for your daily life, so do not hesitate to associate it with your most beautiful pairs of flat shoes: tennis shoes, trainers, open or closed sandals!

When I made the very first sketch of this jumpsuit, I hadn’t imagined a completely separate crop. For me, the woven parts were attached to the main piece. But because of the poor quality of my design, Eliane, our Couture Director redesigned it by separating the two pieces. From his drawing, I could not see the room otherwise than thus. It is one of the pieces that best represents the entity in the form, the pattern of the fabric, the embroidery on the leg and the brooch to wear if desired on the belt.

The story of this fabric begins with a white fabric. This is the entity fabric. It is made from three interlocking pads, all born from the shape of the entity’s legs. To obtain this result, it is necessary to count the application of each of these pads and between the applications, dye runs in increasingly dark shades of the same color. The ultimate layer is obtained by breaking the wax before the last descent. The result is of a beautiful complexity when one is interested in the details and the shades of colors on the fabric.
