In our workshop, we coat the entire fabric with wax, then break this wax manually so that the dye that will follow penetrates the fibers only on the ramifications imposed by the break. The dye is then “swept” over the entire fabric.

The capri has a discreet zipper on the side, two large comfortable pockets, an elastic waistband in the back. The length is to be established by mutual agreement with the client, because Kroskel likes, when she can, to be at the service of her clients’ wishes.

Do you know the origin of the capri, now commonly called short pants?

The capri, designed in 1948, was popularized the following year by Bunny Roger while on vacation on the island of Capri. In France, it was Brigitte Bardot who popularized it in the 1950s. It was the years when women began to be able to wear pants, yes, that seems like a very distant time now! Its popularity then declined, although Uma Thurman wore it in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction.
