Conception of this piece

The tailor is a love story between women and clothes. Composed of two pieces, jacket plus skirt or later pants, this suit outfit dresses in several kinds of occasion. Here, a minimalist version of the jacket that would rather put it in the category of tops (or even crop top) is associated with the intermediary between the skirt and the pants, the skirt pants comfortable and elegant at the same time. The trapeze theme is respected in both pieces: the two sides of the mini-jacket are indeed trapezoids, as well as the sides of the skirt-pants which therefore become asymmetrical while maintaining an unmistakable class.

Fruit of research on geometry in couture, the trapeze exploration keeps this common thread of a trapeze shape, and interprets the trapeze in various garments ranging from dresses to jumpsuits, from suits to trousers, for go up to a long version of the trench.

How to wear this piece ?

Worn like this mannequin, this little suit needs nothing more to display its class and determination. If the season is cold, it can be associated with a blouse or a plain knit close to the body. A wide-brimmed hat and pumps in matching shades could complete a relaxed yet classy look.

The little story of our stylist

Being born when pants were not yet the norm for women, I have a real passion for skorts that could be displayed as an authorized piece while being comfortable like the pants you don’t. wasn’t quite right yet, at least on the occasions. Among the models who have tried this set, there is not one who has not fallen for the Vespa. Why Vespa? Because this set emphasizes the waist, giving an impression of wasp waist to any physiognomy, and because the stripes that make it up are very reminiscent of those of the wasp. And that, of course, Vespa means wasp in Italian!

Dyeing technique

The fabric (here linen) is dyed in the background color (turquoise or coral). It is then tinted with a cocoa pigment using the shibori technique by accordion folding according to the chosen direction.
